SUBMISSIONS

Cargo is one of the few publishers that accept unsolicited manuscripts. However, if you are lucky enough to have an agent, we ask that your representative contact us instead.

Submissions should be one chapter of double spaced text or a maximum of two short stories of double spaced text. Please use .doc or .txt format. Send your submissions to Gill Tasker and the submissions team at submissions@cargopublishing.com

We currently don’t accept poetry or plays, but we are working on that…

We receive lots of great submissions every day, so we ask that you wait a minimum of 6 weeks for a response. This gives us the proper time to carefully consider your manuscript and give it the attention it deserves. Thanks!
